Preggie woman hangs self

DEPRESSED over the lack of money for her delivery this month, a nine-month pregnant woman allegedly ended her life by hanging yesterday morning in Valenzuela City.

Allan Tiburcio, 33,  of No. 176 Dulong Tangke St., Barangay Malinta, Valenzuela City, said he rushed his live-in partner, Luzviminda Pabularon, 25, to the Valenzuela City Medical Center but to no avail.

Tiburcio said he awoke to see Pabularon’s body hanging from the ceiling in their living room at 6 a.m. The depressed woman used a nylon cord to kill herself.

“Madalas n’yang sabihin sa akin na wala siyang naitabing pera para sa panganganak nya, prinoproblema n’ya ’yun,” Tiburcio told investigators.

He admitted that they were having financial problems because he has no stable job to support his family.

Tiburcio disclosed that Pabularon did not even had a chance to go to the hospital for pre-natal check-ups because they have no money.

“Hindi rin po s’ya nakapagpa-ultrasound kaya hindi namin alam kung babae o lalaki ang magiging anak namin,” he added.

Tiburcio felt bad because he not only lost Pabularon but also their baby.

As soon as the mother’s blood stops pumping, the baby would die soon after because there would be no oxygen going through the placenta to the baby.

Follow-up investigators SPO3 Ritchie Garcia and PO3 Josefino Pagtama said they are still investigating it there was a foul play in the incident.
