THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has filed drug charges against a Chinese nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City last week before the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Sued was Clarence Chen Go, alias Tony Go, for possession and sale of illegal drugs under R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) before the office of Asst. State Prosecutor Juan Pedro Navera.
Navera said Go would be indicted today before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.
Go, a 35-year-old native of Xiamen City in Fujian province in China, was arrested last Feb. 2 at the parking space of The Bar at the corner of Tomas Morato and Timog Avenues after he was caught selling a kilo of shabu worth P3.6 million to a PDEA agent who posed as buyer.
Also charged with Go were his alleged cohorts, identified as Changxin Wang, Mark Tan and Matthew Tan.
