A 29-year-old laborer was shot dead in front of his shocked drinking mates the other night in Tondo, Manila.
Victim Dindo Esperazate, of R-10 Marcos Highway, Tondo, Manila, was pronounced dead upon arrival at a hospital due to a lone gunshot wound in the back.
Investigation conducted by PO2 Bernardo Cayabyab of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section showed that at around 11:30 p.m., the victim was enjoying a drinking session with friends along C.P. Garcia Street at the corner of Blk.7, Rawis St., in Tondo, Manila, when a certain ‘Sam’ came behind the victim and shot him pointblank before fleeing on foot.
Police theorized that an old grudge may have triggered the crime, even as the suspect is presently being hunted down.
