A 27-YEAR-OLD man in Caloocan City, whose pregnant wife allegedly refused to have sex with him, was arrested Tuesday night when he turned to his little sister and raped the latter.
Now facing rape charges, in relation to violation of Republic Act 7610 otherwise known as the Child Abuse Law, is Joselito Tanteo.
Victim “Cecil”, real name withheld, was accompanied by her parents in filing the formal complaint against the suspect with the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Caloocan Police.
Cecil told investigators that she was already asleep when her elder brother entered their room about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The suspect, according to the victim, ignored her pleas and went on to rape her unaware that their other sibling accidentally witnessed the crime.
The boy did not waste time and informed their parents what has just happened.
Their enraged parents immediately sought the assistance of barangay officials who arrested him.
During interrogation, the suspect was remorseful of what he had done to his younger sister, adding that he lost his mind when his wife refused to have sex with him because of her condition.
