BOMB scare forced the suspension of classes in two schools that turned out to be hoax yesterday in Las Piñas City.
Police said a teacher and a school staff in Vergonville Elementary School received a text message warning of an impending bomb explosion.
School authorities sought help from barangay officials, who reported the same to police.
After more than an hour of searching, a police bomb squad declared the bomb threat as a hoax.
Just as policemen were about to leave the school, officials of North National High School at nearby barangay alerted the police after receiving a bomb threat.
Though the bomb threat were found to be a case of bomb scare, school officials suspended classes.
