3 wanted men fall


OLONGAPO City -- Three wanted persons were arrested by the Zambales Criminal Investigation and Detection Team (ZCIDT) in Subic town.

ZCIDT provincial officer Chief Insp. Ruben Tampis, identified the suspects as Jimmy Gareza, 46, of Magdalena Homes, Subic, Zambales, Marvin de la Cruz, 20, of Purok 6, San Nicolas, and Jonathan Torilla, 17, of Bgy. Rizal, both of San Antonio town.

Gareza, who has been hiding for 12 years, was nabbed in his house in Bgy. Sto. Tomas, Subic, by a team led by SPO3 Maximo Ramos. He was arrested by virtue of a warrant for illegal recruitment and estafa issued by Manila Judge Amalia Andrade.

Another warrant was issued against Gareza for illegal recruitment, simple illegal recruitment and estafa, issued by a Pasay City Court. The suspect was detained at the ZCIDT detention cell.

De la Cruz and Torilla were arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Iba Judge Josefina Farrales for carnapping with a P180,000 bail each. De la Cruz was a member of the “Sahagun Gang” operating in Zambales.

The two were detained at ZCIDT sub-office in Iba town.
