A 60-year-old Filipino-Chinese housewife was found dead with her hands tied by a rope and hanging Sunday night in Valenzuela City.

Joseph Sy. 61, said the body of his wife Rosita  Ong was already stiff when he saw her still hanging inside their house in F. Lazaro St., Bgy. Canumay West, Valenzuela City at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Sy added he just arrived home after closing a business deal in Apalit, Pampanga.

“Nasa biyahe ako at panay ang tawag ko sa kanya pero hindi siya sumasagot kaya kinabahan ako,” Sy told probers.

The grieving husband noted he cried when he saw his wife’s body.

“Napaiyak na lang ako nang makita ko ’yung wife ko na patay na, sana tinangay na lang nila ang mga gamit namin at hindi na piñatay ang asawa ko,” he added.

Investigators theorized the victim recognized the killers and they silenced her so they would not be arrested. Mia B. Billones
