A PILOT was killed when the spray plane he was riding crashed yesterday morning in a farm in Panabo City, Davao del Norte.

Supt. Marvin Manuel Pepino, chief of Panabo City police, identified the victim as Capt. Napoleon Emia, who was declared dead on arrival at the Rivera Hospital.

Reports reaching Camp Crame showed the incident was reported to the police at around 9 a.m. yesterday at Evergreen Farm in Bgy. Datu Abdul, Panabo City.

Initial investigation revealed that the plane was on its way to Lapanday plantation when it crashlanded in the said area.

Authorities are now conducting follow-up investigation into the incident.
