CHIEF Justice Renato Corona yesterday called for a special en banc session on Friday to tackle all pending motions as well as the “alleged defiance, resistance and disobedience” by Justice Secretary Leila de Lima and immigration officials.

At a hastily called press conference, Court Administrator Midas Marquez  said the en banc will tackle the motion for reconsideration filed by De Lima through the OSG seeking the recall of the TRO as well as the manifestation filed by Mrs. Arroyo’s lawyer Estelito Mendoza seeking an earlier date for the holding of the oral arguments.
