FORMER First Gentleman Mike Arroyo will undergo a series of tests in Hong Kong, Ma. Elena Bautista-Horn, spokesperson of Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, revealed yesterday. Horn said Mr. Arroyo is in good condition, however his health is still being monitored by doctors to avoid the recurrence of his acute aortic aneurism. The couple returned to the country last Tuesday, a day after President Benigno Aquino’s State of the Nation Address. “He is back in the country and will have a test in St. Luke’s then he’ll go back again to Hong Kong for more tests. Yung machine kasi na gagamitin for the test sa Hong Kong meron,” Horn said. “So expect natin na sasamahan pa rin ni Representative Arroyo si Mr. Arroyo sa kanyang punta sa Hong Kong, probably one or two months from now,” she added. Last July 25, the couple flew to Hong Kong and met Dr. Kwok Ching Kwong and Dr. Lou Chu Pak, both cardiovascular surgeons. Horn said the couple had to prioritize the health condition of the former First Gentleman. |
