PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino is expected to move this weekend into the Bahay Pangarap which will be his official residence. Col. Mateo Dizon, Presidential Security Group commander, said work on the building is almost done and their target date is before August 2. A room was added in the house and it was made sure that water from the Pasig River would not overflow into the area during high tide. “Pag after August 2 e di matatagalan na naman… saka sabi sa feng shui dapat wag umabot ng August 2 bago mag-transfer e,” Dizon said. When asked if the President believes in feng shui, Dizon said there is nothing wrong with the belief. He said the PSG also welcomes the immediate transfer of the President to his official residence, adding it would also be for the good of the media which have been staking out at the Aquino residence in Times St. in Quezon City. The Chief Executive opted to stay in the Bahay Pangarap across from Malacanan Palace, which he said is too big for him. |
