TWO brothers tagged behind the murder of their cousin in Madalag, Aklan were arrested by local authorities, Police Regional Office 6 director Chief Supt. Cipriano Querol, Jr.  said.

Freddie Francisco, 31, and his brother Rodel, 21, both of Barangay Mercedes, Madalag town were arrested at their hideout in the remote area of Sitio Agbuya, Barangay Maria Cristina.

The arrests were based on a warrant signed by kalibo Judge Elmo del Rosario. No bail was recommended.

The Francisco brothers were charged for allegedly conspiring to kill their first cousin Elmer Francisco last April 22 in Barangay Mercedes.

Arresting team leader Insp. Belshazzar Villanoche said they have yet to arrest three other suspects in the killing.
