UNIDENTIFIED armed men abducted a Malaysian before dawn Saturday in Indanan, Sulu.

This was confirmed yesterday by Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman Chief Supt Agrimero Cruz Jr.

Cruz identified the victim as Nasarudding Bensaidin, 38, resident of Kuala Lumur, Malaysia.

Citing reports from Directorate Integrated Police Operations-Western Mindanao Director Felicisimo Khu, the victim was abducted at around 12 midnight  of May 7 in Sitio Butan, Bgy. Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu.

Khu said 10 armed men snatched the victim inside the house where he was staying.

Authorities are now conducting follow-up investigation to identify the suspects and rescue the victim. Zaida delos Reyes-Palanca
