AGENTS of the National Bureau of Investigation confiscated more than P550,000 worth of counterfeit cosmetic products in a raid in Quezon City, the NBI said yesterday.

Raided was the Izial Chemiehausen Corp. at 48 Magsaysay Avenue, Doña Faustina Subdivision, San Bartolome, Novaliches.

NBI special investigator III Isagani Illecas said seized during the raid were several jars of beauty products which are imi-tations of Golden Fabulouz, a trademark owned by Span Promotions and Marketing Inc.

The raid was conducted after Eduardo Ortiz, representative of the Golden Fabulouz International Corp., sought the NBI’s help to stop the proliferation of fake beauty pro-ducts bearing the logo of Golden Fabulouz.

Charges of trademark infringement and unfair competition will be filed against the owner of the establishment. Jerico Javier
