A motorcycle’s helmet failed to save his life after he was thrown off his vehicle at the Buendia-Kalayaan flyover in Makati City yesterday morning. Mark Angelo Pecson, 31, of 2496 Taft Avenue, Pasay City, died due to a broken neck. Case officer PO3 Franklin Aparice said Pecson was driving his motorcycle on his way to his office at the Global City, Taguig when the accident happened. Pecson was reportedly cruising at top speed when he lost control of his motorcycle and rammed the concrete post at 7:10 a.m. The impact threw the victim off the motorcycle. His body slammed into the wall before landing on the concrete pavement some three meters away. |
