A shooting incident that led to the death of an unidentified victim was caught on closed circuit television (CCTV) installed in the area yesterday before dawn in Caloocan City.

Acting Caloocan City chief of police Supt. Ferdinand Del Rosario said the unidentified victim described as about 35 to 40 years old, of medium built, 4’10” in height and wearing blue T-shirt and black short pants was murdered by armed men on board three motorcycles on C-3 Road near corner Talakitok St., Bgy. 22, at around 4:30 a.m.
Video footage of barangay’s CCTV showed how the gunmen shot and killed the hapless victim, who was earlier seen in the company of the suspects.
After the killing, the suspects immediately sped away on board their motorcycles.
A witness, identified as Genefred Visto, 27, duty security guard of Colosa Merchandising Corp., told police that he was at the guard house when he heard a burst of gunfire, prompting him to peep through a window and saw the lifeless body of a man sprawled on the pavement.
Visto said he noticed three motorcycles hurriedly sped away from the crime scene, leaving behind the bloodied victim.
Elements of Caloocan Police Community Precinct (PCP) 2 conducted a follow-up operation but failed to arrest the suspects. The motive behind the killing is yet to be determined.
