GOOD news for domestic travelers. 

As part of its year-long 70th anniversary celebration, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is offering a special deal for domestic travelers where passengers may buy a one-way, economy-class ticket for P770 to any Luzon or Visayas destination, or P1,070 to any Mindanao point and get a second domestic ticket for only P70. 

Dubbed “You’re my PAL,” the two-in-one treat also allows domestic passengers to enjoy business class for only P3,970 to any Luzon or Visayas destination and P4,970 to Mindanao.

PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said that by presenting the discounted ticket (used or unused) at any PAL ticket office, another ticket may be bought at any of PAL’s 20 domestic destination for the giveaway price of just P70 (one-way, economy).    

“The discounted tickets are available only from Jan. 6 to 11, 2012.  These tickets are valid for travel from June 16 to Sept. 30, 2012.  The P70 promo ticket must be ticketed from Jan. 6 to 9, 2012 and valid for travel from Jan. 16 to March 21, 2012,” Villaluna said.  

The promo, which is not valid for groups of more than seven passengers, covers PAL-operated flights between Manila and Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Laoag, Legazpi, Ozamiz, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, Tacloban, Tagbilaran and Zamboanga cities.

Meanwhile, Villaluna said that PAL is revising some of its flight schedules to adjust to the planned seven-month partial closure of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) due to runway repairs.
