LOLONG has been confirmed by National Geographic Channel representatives led by Dr. Adam Britton as the biggest reptile in captivity at 21 feet and 1 inch.
Weighing more than a ton, Lolong was captured September 3 along a creek in Bunawan township in Agusan del Sur.
Lolong took the Guinness title from Cassius, an Australian saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus). Britton was part of a 10-member National Geographic (NatGeo) team doing a documentary on Lolong. Manny Balbin
