2 Sino traders nabbed for not remitting workers’ SSS contributions

TWO Chinese businessmen were arrested for not remitting their employees’ contributions to the Social Security System (SSS) in Zamboanga City.

The suspects were identified as Chee Pang Ong and Lin Xiu Man, owners of Unimaker Marketing Corporation.
   
Reports from Police Regional Office (PRO) 9 said the suspects were arrested at 1 p.m. the  other day on Maria Clara L. Lobregat Highway, Divisoria, Zamboanga City.
   
The report said the suspects were arrested based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Gregorio dela Pena III, of Regional Trial Court Branch 12, Ninth Judicial Region.
   
Accordingly the suspects were charged of not remitting SSS contributions of their employees.
   
The two suspects did not resist but managed to walked out of jail after paying P20,000 bail.
