Is he serious or not?

WE just deciphered some of women’s body language signs in terms of romance and dating. Now let’s find out men’s motives and signs women should decode and crack as early as possible.

iVillage.com spelled out Tracy Cox’ clues of men’s body language for you to see if he’s really serious or just flirting.

* Raising eyebrows. He might think you’ve said something adorable, but he’s trying to play it cool. There’s no ill motive here, just a universal fancies like what most women do - to take in as much as possible of what’s a person is telling to.

* Combs his hair with his fingers. The guy is trying to draw attention to himself, it’s a good sign actually. If he dips his head forward and gently cups his hair and smiles, it signals he wants to look good for you. On the other hand, if he does it as he’s approaching you or as you’re approaching him, he’s nervous about his appearance.

To compose him, tell him that he looks great. This will put his ego at ease.

* He fixes your hair. What if he fixes your hair? It’s an intimate action and hints that he wants more than just sex – he wants closeness but needs an excuse to do it and that is pushing hair out of a woman’s eyes. But if he grimaces while he does it, it shows the need to have things correct or perfect.

* He talks with his hands. The wider the gestures and the more he does this, the more he likes you. Men like these are good communicators. But he's having a little trouble expressing himself verbally to you that he likes you.

* Sits with legs apart. Uh-oh, he’s giving you a crotch display to make you think that between his legs is his best part. Stop seeing him again.

* Licks his lips. Most men lick their lips when they saw something desirable. You look yummy and that makes him nervous. And he doesn’t want to lose the opportunity with you and your irresistible attraction.

* Touches your hand. The usual manner men convey with women. He wants to get closer to you. According to Cox, palm up means he’s happy for you to take the lead from there,” it’s a more submissive and innocent gesture. If palms down, that means he feels in control of what’s going to happen. The person whose palm faces down is usually the boss.
