ALLEGED drug lord Kerwin Espinosa named the three Criminal Investigation and Detection Group officers involved in the supposed shootout that claimed the life of his father as among those the regular recipients of drug money from him.
Kerwin also claimed that the signature of his slain father, Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr., was forged in the affidavit linking several personalities in illegal drugs.
This was according to Senator Panfilo Lacson who read the draft affidavit of Kerwin that was submitted to the Senate Committee on Public Order.
“Si Kerwin sinasabi n’ya na hindi totoo ang affidavit ng kanyang father so parang binalewala n’ya ‘yun, ang sinasabi n’ya ito talaga na totoo,” Lacson said.
“He even denied the signature of the mayor.
At the same time, Lacson said that the motive in the death of the elder Espinosa became clearer after reading the affidavit of Kerwin, which included police officials linked to illegal drugs.
Noel) Matira in his affidavit na siyang kumukuha ng regular na payola from him. It’s up to him to explain further or magbigay ng detalye bukas sa pagdinig.
