A CASHIER allegedly involved in the P14-million scam in their foundation committed suicide by hanging herself inside her room in Dipolog City.

The victim was identified as Gemma Dalaveria, 47, married, cashier of Dipolog Medical Foundation.

Reports reaching Camp Crame showed the victim was found by her husband Joseph hanging inside the comfort room of their room around 7:45 p.m. Friday.

Joseph immediately rushed the victim to the nearest hospital for treatment but she was pronounced dead on arrival by an attending physician.

It was learned that the victim used nylon cord to hang herself.

Investigation showed the victim was one of the three employees of the foundation accused of anomaly involving P14-million fund of the foundation.      Zaida delos Reyes-Palanca
