The Lady Red Spikers were in full control in the match to chalk up their fourth win in five matches.
More importantly, San Beda kept within reach of defending champion College of Saint Benilde and San Sebastian, the remaining undefeated teams in the leagues at 4-0.
Earlier, University of Perpetual Help System Dalta rolled to its second straight victory and climbed in sixth place with a 25-15, 25-7, 25-19 trampling of Mapua.
Racraquin came through with 14 hits, including three service aces, and 15 digs to help the Lady Red Spikers bounce back from last week’s straight sets rout from the hands of the Lady Stags.
Yani Espiritu had three blocks for a 10-point effort while San Beda playmaker Rebecca Cuevas tossed in 41 excellent sets.
Shola Alvarez and Rosalie Pepito had 12 and 11 points, respectively, for the Lady Bombers, who fell in seventh place at 2-3.
Lourdes Clemente led the Lady Altas balanced attack with 10 points, including three blocks, Cindy Imbo added eight hits and five digs, while Coleen Bravo and Jam Suyat chipped in six points apiece.
Dianne Latayan scored half of her eight points from service aces for the Lady Cardinals, who went down to their fifth straight defeat.
Meanwhile, defending champion Perpetual Help overpowered Mapua, 25-23, 25-18, 25-20.
Allan Jay Sala-an unloaded a match-best 13 hits including nine on kills while Kasim Esmail and Rey Taneo, Jr. scattered 11 and 10 points, respectively, to power the Altas to a 3-1 card. Relan Taneo facilitated his team’d relentless attacking by dishing out 30 excellent sets.
San Beda, behind Limuel Patenio’s 11 points, bested JRU, 25-18, 25-14, 25-20, for its fourth win in five contests in solo second in the other match.
