BAGUIO City -- Combined members of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Unit (CAIDU) and Stations 1, 7, and 9 of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) arrested three drug pushers in a buy-bust operation at Km4 Asin Road, here, the other day.
Police said the first suspect, Daniel Mapit Villanueva, a.k.a. “Dondon,” 33, mechanic, of Upper West, Camp 7, this city, was nabbed after selling shabu to a police poseur-buyer. Seized from his possession were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu.
Same operatives also nabbed two drug dealers, identified as Arturo Apolinario Bullo Jr., a.k.a. “Jong,” 43, mechanic, and Wenniefred Sinot Alindogan, 40, during a buy-bust operation and seized eight plastic sachets containing suspected shabu from Arturo.
Villanueva is a former drug surrenderer of BCPO Station 8 while Bullo was a drug surrenderer in Rosario, La Union. Both are on the BCPO watchlist.
Cases for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
Meanwhile, two minors -- 15 and 16 years old -- were taken into custody for violation of the Curfew Ordinance (COB 50) at 3 a.m. along Abanao Street.
During their apprehension, personnel of Station 7 seized three transparent sachets containing suspected shabu with a total worth of approximately P7,500 from their possession.
Both minors are suspects in a series of robbery with force upon things in Baguio City. They were turned over to the Women’s and Children’s Protection’s Desk for proper disposition.
