7 PRO-Cor officers get award, health equipment

CAMP Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Seven officers of Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-Cor), headed by Chief Supt. Elmo Francis O. Sarona, were awarded Medalya ng Pagtulong sa Nasalanta (PNP Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Medal). 

Chief Insp. Jacquiline E. Honrado, Chief Insp. Richard Harry V. Doza, SPO2 Artemio L. Fontanilla Jr., PO3 Jimmy A. Alinao, PO3 Julius M. Liis, PO2 Jed A. Arrieta and PO2 Hans Quenell A. Vergara were awarded for their dedication, commitment and outstanding performance to duty during the search and rescue operations conducted during and after the onslaught of Typhoons Karen and Lawin.
   
Chief Supt. Robert Guzman Quenery, director of Health Service, was the guest of honor and speaker during the flag-raising ceremony at Camp Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, yesterday.
   
Quenery congratulated the awardees and expressed his gratitude for the support that PRO-Cor has extended to his office.
   
Their sacrifices manifested the highest professional ideals of the PNP that drew optimism and inspiration among public servants, Quenery said.
   
He further itemized the advanced medical technologies that he brought to the region such as the ECG apparatus, weighing machines and others.
   
The said equipment will be used by PRO-Cor Health Service to cater better services to the personnel of the region and nearby community.
   
Lastly, he urged every personnel to continue supporting health service and to take care of the equipment.
