THE Bureau of Customs (BoC) is now investigating two drug suspects, who on Saturday were nabbed after picking up a luggage containing over a kilo of shabu at a courier warehouse in the vicinity of the NAIA Complex.

Customs-NAIA District Collector Ed Macabeo said the two suspects, identified as Mark Anthony de Leon, a dance instructor, and Bryan Levandino Cortes, both 26 and residents of Mabalacat, Pampanga, were collared at FedEx Express at International Cargo Terminal on NAIA Road, Pasay City.
The luggage they picked up reportedly arrived October 21 and was under the name of one Matumona Kinzolani Guylain from Congo.
The two suspects, who remain under the custody of the BoC, are being investigated to determine who ordered them to pick up the said luggage. De Leon reportedly used a fake ID in claiming the bag.
The shabu, with an estimated street value of P8 million, was turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
