Salvaged holdupper dumped near Divisoria mall

THE body of a man believed to be a victim of summary execution and said to be a notorious holdupper, was placed inside a black garbage bag and then dumped in front of a mall in the Divisoria area of Binondo, Manila.

SPO2 John Charles Duran of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the victim was between 38 and 43 years old, about 5’2” tall, of medium built and dark-skinned. He bore several stab wounds in the body.
   
The victim’s face was wrapped with brown packaging tape, his mouth was gagged with a face towel, he was hogtied with wire copper, his neck also had a wire copper tied around it and he bore stab wounds in the different parts of the body.
   
Police said the body was found at around 4 p.m. by a concerned citizen who noticed the bag in front of the 999 Mall on Soler Street near the corner of Reina Regente Street in Binondo.
   
During inspection of the bag, police also found in it a placard that read:’ “Mandurukot ako dito sa Divisoria.”
   
The identity of the victim remains unknown, including the killer and the motive behind his slay.
