On the beat
AFTER reading the book “Beautiful Outlaw” by John Eldredge, this column could not help but truly believe that Rody is a beautiful President. This is because of his strong political will to implement real and genuine change for our brighter future..
Digong is one rare leader, funny at times, with an unorthodox and maverick style of presidency, but with a sincere heart. This is why he has earned the controversial support of social media consultant and entertainer Mocha Uson, daughter of the late Tayug Judge Oscar Gary Uson.
Recently, Digong’s conscience or “Alpha Theta Beta” and his magnetic personality and humor made him even more beautiful after realizing in a dream aboard a plane and above the clouds his mistakes. He willl undoubtably fulfill his promises. Possibly potential next US President Hillary Clinton will become his friend.
When Duterte was asked, “Which do you like Jollibee or McDonald’s? Jollibee or McDonald’s? The President quipped: “Frankly, I do not eat. Really, truly, seldom, very often. But I stick to “bibingka” and “maruya”, native dish.”
Traffic woes especially with the fast approaching Christmas and Holiday shopping rush should be on the agenda of our traffic czar, DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade and MMDA ‘s Thomas Orbos.

Of the 14 nominees vying for Perez’s post, Acosta has been rumored to be President Rodrigo Duterte’s pick for the SC seat. An influential person is also reportedly backing her bid.
This column learned that Sen. Juan Miguel Migz Zubiri has endorsed chief public attorney Acosta’s application to the SC.

A win win solution should be crafted by the LTFRB regarding the concerns of our about 36,000 taxi operators and drivers against the operation of Grab and Uber. The same with the men and women of Social Security System (SSS) so that the additional P2,000 increase in the pensions of senior citizens will serve as their Christmas gift. The SSS will need an additional P56 billion in the first year alone to fund the 12 monthly pensions and 13th month pensions of more than two million SSS pensioners, according to SSS officials. But solons says otherwise as they have counterpart options, stressing that the SSS pension hike is feasible with its net revenue in 2014 at P44.47 billion and assets amounting to nearly P500 billion already.
No way that SSS will go bankrupt especially with the provisions of Section 21 of Republic Act 8282 guaranteeing the benefits and solvency of SSS with its fund life surviving even until 2029.
