Combined elements of Los Baños PNP, Laguna SWAT team and Laguna Provincial Public Safety Company (LPPSC) arrested two suspected “shabu queens” and 16 others during “One-Time, Big Time” anti-illegal drug operations in Bgy. Bayog, Los Baños, yesterday morning.
A report by Supt. Vicente Cabatingan, Los Baños police chief, to acting Laguna police director Senior Supt. Joel Pernito, identified the arrested suspects as Rosalina Lumaybay, 56, of Bgy. Bayog; and Enerlita Eusebio, 56, of Bgy. San Antonio.
Also arrested were three sons of Lumaybay, Eusebio’s daughter and 12 others for involvement in illegal drug activities.
Investigation revealed that at 2:20 a.m. yesterday, operatives led by Cabatingan swooped down on the suspects’ lair on the strength of 10 search warrants issued by Judge Agripino Morga of RTC San Pablo City for rampant selling of illegal drugs and operating a drug den.
Confiscated during the raid were scattered spikes within the vicinity to prevent authorities from entering the area.
The operatives were able to recover 60 small plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P100,000.
Also arrested during the massive manhunt operation were four wanted persons, identified as Melvin Ramos and Rolando Lumaybay, for illegal drugs; Remelie Bosquillos for qualified theft and Rolando Daprosa for estafa.
