2 pushers shot dead

AN alleged lady drug pusher and a local government employee were killed by unidentified riding-in-tandem gunmen in Abra and Zamboanga del Norte.

Police said the victim, Zenaida de Guzman Alcantara, 42, married, unemployed, of Zone 3, Bangued, Abra, was killed the other day at 10:42 p.m. on Abra-Ilocos Sur Road, Bgy. Ubbo-Lipcan, Bangued.
   
Police said the victim was waiting for someone at Jarrelle Pancitan when an unidentified suspect shot her several times.
   
The victim was rushed by responding personnel of Bangued Police Station to Abra Provincial Hospital, Calaba, Bangued where she died while undergoing treatment of multiple gunshot wounds in the body.
   
A Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) team from the Abra Provincial Crime Laboratory Office (PCLO) recovered three fired cartridge cases for cal. .45.
   
In Zamboanga del Norte, a government employee who surrendered to authorities for involvement in illegal drugs was shot dead by unidentified suspects the other day.
   
The victim, Reden Yngoc Ello, 34, married, assigned as driver at Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Health Office and residing in Bgy. del Pilar, Pinan, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Pinan District Hospital.
