FOUR victims of drug-related incidents were killed by unidentified assailants in separate areas in Pasig City in just four hours.
Reports gathered at the Eastern Police District (EPD) said Kevin Miguel, 28, of Conducto St., Bgy. Caniogan, was gunned down by unidentified suspect a few meters away from his house at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said Miguel was talking to a man in front of Angels Burger on Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave., Bgy. Caniogan, when the suspect shot him at close range in the head and body.
Investigation revealed that Miguel is included in the drug watchlist of Bgy. Caniogan.
At 11:40 p.m., Bonifacio Antonio, 55, service operator, of Executive Village, Antipolo City, and Mario Rosit, 51, electrician, of 11-I ROTC St., Bgy. Rosario, Pasig City, were shot while having a drinking session in front of Rosit’s house.
PO3 Oliver Baquiran said three suspects, armed with handguns, suddenly arrived looking for Boni. When the latter identified himself, the suspects pulled out a gun and shot him several times, killing him on the spot.
Baquiran said his drinking buddy Rosit tried to run but he was also shot by the suspects. He was declared dead on arrival at Pasig City General Hospital.
According to a resident, Antonio was a known drug pusher in their barangay.
At 2 a.m. yesterday, Amirudin Sani, alias Amir, 27, of E. Santos St., Bgy. Pinagbuhatan, was shot dead by three armed men who chased him in Leticia Village, Caliwag, Bgy. Pinagbuhatan.
The victim’s uncle, identified as Alan Alawi, said the former is a known drug user in the area.
Meanwhile, police raided a suspected drug den just beside the main headquarters of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and arrested five drug personalities yesterday morning in San Juan City.
C/Supt. Sapitula said a members of Station Anti-Illegal Drugs (SAID) of the San Juan City police raided three houses, one of which was converted into a drug den, on Road 9, 1st West Crame, Bgy. West Crame.
The five arrested suspects were identified as Maria Theresa Tolentino, 59, Eduardo Solis, Marvelluz Jimenez, 26, Marlon Vizcarra, 33, and Alejandro Abonite, 42.
Sapitula said the raid was conducted based on information regarding illegal operation of drugs in the one of the houses in the area.
After one month of surveillance, operatives confirmed the information and applied for search warrants.
Armed with four search warrants issued by Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 152, SAID team leader Insp. Edwin Malabanan and other operatives conducted simultaneous operations at 12:30 a.m.
Malabanan said the prime target of the operation

Sapitula said Roger Alonzo was a former member of Narcotics Command (Narcom) and the Presidential Security Group (PSG).
