ALL evacuated residents in Marikina City returned home as the water level in Marikina River subsided.
The Public Information Office of Marikina City said that as of 2:40 p.m. yesterday, water level was down to 14.2 meters after reaching its fourth alarm from a high of 18.3 meters last Saturday.
Families or individuals in all evacuations areas in Marikina City were allowed to go home after the water level at the Marikina River significantly eased.
Mayor Marcelino Teodoro, however, advised residents to be on alert as rains are expected to continue in the coming days.
The city government has started cleaning all the vacated evacuation centers.
