FOR running amuck while holding a gun, a 29-year-old man was killed by elements of the Plaza Miranda Police Community Precinct who shot him early yesterday morning in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Dead on arrival at the hospital was Randy Flores, of 840 Oroquieta Street, Sta. Cruz, Manila.
A probe by PO3 Marlon San Pedro of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said that the suspect was killed at around 1 a.m. behind the Philippine Rabbit Terminal on Oroquieta Street, Sta. Cruz.
Aboard Mobile Car 384, PO1 Wilson Panganiban, PO1 Eric Reyrata and PO1 Glenn George Mendoza of the Plaza Miranda PCP responded after receiving a report that an armed man had gone amuck in front of the In and Out Restaurant located at the corner of Rizal Avenue and Claro M. Recto Avenue.
When the cops arrived, bystanders told them the suspect had run toward Oroquieta Street. There, the cops found the suspect in an alley.
While approaching him, the suspect reportedly fired at the cops so they fired back, killing him instantly.  He was hit in the head and body.
Found on the suspect was the .38 cal. gun that he used in wreaking havoc and shooting at the cops. Itchie G. Cabayan
