SOME (keen) observers say that Richard Gomez seems not to be taking good care of his physical assets.

Maybe it’s the role, but unlike his co-stars in his Kapamilya soap, it seems he only relies on his attributes but has no plan of maintaining them, at least for as long as he can.

Older actor Christopher de Leon has maintained his good physique, and although lines have started to appear on his face, he carries them exceedingly well.

What a time for Richard to get careless of his looks particularly now that he’s given projects left and right.

Maybe Richard couldn’t ask for more: he has a beautiful, rich and intelligent wife. But shouldn’t he be more careful with his looks now that age is slowly running after him? Just asking…

VENUS IN LOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME

THIS is the first time we heard that our former representative in the Ms. Universe beauty pageant, Venus Raj, is in love.

Since entering showbiz after her stint in the said beauty pageant, the “major, major” beauty queen was never linked to anyone. But after some time getting to  work in the morning show, “Umagang Kay Ganda”  on ABS-CBN, she’s now linked to co-host Andrei Felix.

While it is said that it’s Venus’ first time to fall in love, Andrei has been linked to numerous women in the past including Jennylyn Mercado.

Would this be more lasting for Andrei this time? Just asking…

POOR COPY?

WE wonder if others have also noticed the blatant similarities between the ABS-CBN show, “E-Boy” and the 1999 Robin Williams movie, “Bicentennial Man.”

We’ve seen a few episodes of “E-Boy” and already we could tell that the Kapamilya serye was a rip-off of the Hollywood film.

It’s hardly a coincidence that “E-Boy” follows the same plot as the movie, which is also about a robot developing human feelings and understanding.

But apart from taking the concept and passing it on as its own, they've also patterned the “look” of the robot after the Hollywood film incorporating only a few changes in the color.

Coincidence or not, this only further justifies the lack of creativity on their part which is evident in their recent launches consisting of either remakes or unoriginal stories.

When will these writers stop claiming that they are serving viewers with original programs, when in truth they are merely presenting them with a poor copy of the original? Just asking...
