CONGRATULATIONS to Boy Abunda for convincing Janice de Belen (and succeding)  to share certain aspects of her private life which has been a no-no  topic for the press before specifically the chapter involving ex-husband John Estrada.

Before John, there were puppy loves which the actress/chef shared mentioning actors Aga Muhlach and Gabby Concepcion.

She recalls that the best thing about Aga is his being unpredictable. After a long disappearing act, he would knock at her doorsteps at the wee hours of the night. When marriage was brought up, she backed out and doesn't regret such a decision nor is she regretting she bore Aga a son.

Just like any teener the kilig factor dawned on Janice when she fall for the charms and handsomeness of Gabby Concepcion. His mistake though was he wore  the pendant Janice gave with another picture inside. All thoughts of romanticism quickly vanished.

Then came John Estrada and one can feel how devastated she felt when the marriage didn't work out.

“I have so much love to give at sa aking timbangan ay mas mabigat ang love but I am a failure in love. I was desperate to make my marriage work. When it failed, I felt on the edge of sanity. I had nightmares every night at natakot akong bumalik matulog. I was miserable but at the same time I didn't want my children to experience misery sa kanilang buhay,” she admitted.

When asked by movie columnist Jun Nardo why she is full of hatred towards John and very firm on not working with him, Janice replied, “So many things happened at hindi ko pwedeng sabihin sa TV dahil bawal. Working with someone required a special kind of relationship. I have no emotions left for him.”
