BEING the alleged reason of the Dr. Vicki Belo-Hayden Kho breakup has apparently revived the dormant career of young mom Nancy Castiglione. We heard TV5 is now interested to get her and she might sign up a contract with them anytime soon. In exchange, she’ll grant a full interview to “Paparazzi” to tell everything she knows about the controversial splitup.

The latest scuttlebutt we heard is that it’s not Hayden who first went astray. Someone from Hayden’s camp says it’s Dr. Vicki who was actually the first one to make a left turn after she has found a new guy who’s said to be even younger than Hayden. The guy is said to be in the U.S. now with her, leaving Hayden with a broken heart so he has unfollowed Dr. Vicki’s twitter account. How true?

FLIRTY, CONTROVERSIAL HOUSEMATE

WENDY Tabusala is surely one of the more controversial housemates in PBB Unlimited after she flirted inside Kuya’s house with balikbayan hunk Carlo even if she already had a boyfriend in the outside world, a mestizo model named Lance. After her eviction on Feb. 4, we’ve been wondering how Lance treated her now that she’s out of Kuya’s house.

“Nag-sorry na ako sa kanya,” says Wendy. “I admit I became too comfortable inside PBB at hindi ako naging maingat sa mga ginawa’t pinagsasabi ko roon. I didn’t know Lance was suffering and he almost left the country dahil sa maraming negative comments na narinig niya about me  at dahil na rin sa mga kantiyaw sa kanya. Muntik na nga raw siyang nag-abroad dahil dito. Malinaw naman sa ’king wala akong feelings for Carlo. Sa nangyari, na-miss ko talaga si Lance and now, the experience made our relationship stronger. Dahil nga sa nangyari, our parents became closer to each other kasi nag-worry lahat sila about me. Ipinaglaban ako ni Lance and my parents saw that he really cared for me when he bravely faced the consequences of my stay in PBB. Before I entered the house, I was not sure if they would ever hit it off. I felt so happy when my mom and Lance both welcomed me together in the outside world noong lumabas na ako.”

Does she regret joining PBB? “Not at all. I used to live a very comfortable life with my parents. Sabi nga nila, para akong prinsesa. But inside Kuya’s house, I was able to prove na kaya kong magtrabaho ng mga gawaing bahay. Naging construction worker pa ako laying bricks sa walkway ng PBB. I was able to perform all the tasks assigned to me patiently without quitting and I’m proud of that.”

So what are her plans now? “If there’d be offers for me to join showbiz, I’d gladly try it. There are also plans for me to join a beauty pageant. My idol is Toni Gonzaga, who acts, sings and does hosting. I feel kaya ko ring gawin lahat 'yon.”

Last night, there was another eviction night in PBB and the four nominees are Biggel, Eting, Seiichi and Slater Young who volunteered to be nominated. Seiichi got the highest number of nomination votes. His housemates find him hardheaded and say it’s difficult to communicate with him in both Filipino and English. Current Head of Household Divine was given the authority to automatically nominate a housemate and she chose Biggel who she said is not capable of making decisions on his own. Secret evictee and House Player Paco was also granted the same power and chose Eting who he sees as just pretending to appear pitiful. Paco, who was named an evictee last Saturday (Feb 11) will be staying in for the next two weeks to serve as House Player to test the remaining housemates’ true personalities. YUL PUT ONE OVER ISKO

AFTER doing ‘Bangis’ with TV5, Manila Councilor John Marvin Nieto, better known in showbiz as Yul Servo, is back with his mentor-discoverer, Maryo J. de los Reyes, in GMA7’s hit primetime show, “Biritera”.

“I play Jerome, a bad guy,” he says. “Love interest ako ni Rich Asuncion and we’re using Roseanne Magan, the biritera, for our own selfish motives. It’s a good role. Dati akong artista na nalaos and my best known movie is titled ‘Silipan Mo Ako’. Naging kabit ako ng isang matron, si Dexter Doria, who gives me everything I need.”

Yul has won acting awards for “Batang Westside,” “Naglalayag” and “Laman.” His last movies were “Rosario” and “Asiong Salonga Story.” He’s now shooting an indie film, “Hindi Tao Hindi Hayop” which is about incest between cousins. Also a theatre actor, he was in the CCP comedy helmed by Chris Millado, “Isang Araw sa Karnabal,” that just ended its run last week.

He’s turning 33 on February 22. “Ka-birthday ko sina Roseanne Magan, Lea Salonga and George Washington,” he says. “For my birthday, I’m holding a medical mission in my district sa Lope de Vega St. then I will stage a musical ‘YulTime GameTime’ sa Blumentritt where my constituents can win big prizes. As a councilor, I authored the resolution on our paperless operation sa city council. Lahat ng communication ngayon, through email na lang and we’re saving a lot of paper.”

His vice mayor, Isko Moreno, is also an actor and appears on ABS-CBN’s “Mundo Man ay Magunaw.”  “O, daig mo pala vice mayor nyo,” quips one writer. “Sa afternoon lang ang show niya, ikaw sa primetime.”

Yul smiles, turning his chinky eyes into a pair of slits.

SCENE STEALER

DIMPLES Romana is so pretty and acts so well she could have been a bigger star had she not gotten married as a teenager. Now, she has an 8-year-old son and does mostly supporting roles in which she is actually very good, as seen in her recent films like “Patikul” as Allen Dizon’s supportive wife and in “My Neighbor’s Wife” where she was Carla Abellana’s scene-stealing best friend.

“I have no regrets about settling down early,” she says. “Happy ako sa husband ko and I’m glad he continues to support my acting career.”

OGIE APOLOGIZED FOR 'NOTHING'

OGIE Alcasid spoofed in his Valentine show with wife Regine Velasquez DJ Mo’s infamous video where he’s shown crying while talking on cam. A “well meaning” friend obviously twitted Mo about it as he issued a reaction on twitter pronto while the show was still going on: “just heard @ogiealcasid made fun of me crying in the abortion video. classy move bud. didnt you just have a child? glad, its alive. Hey guys, dont worry bout it. i'm sure he got a good laugh out of it. a few kids dying is pretty fucking funny. unless it’s his."

Concert director Randy Santiago says he help conceptualized the video diaries shown during the concert. “It’s not him. Is it him? We never said it’s him. Kamukha ba, kahawig ba niya? Hindi naman, a! How come he’s reacting. We never even mentioned about the subject matter na sinabi niya. Yung sa ’min, actually, tungkol sa arguments ng mag-asawa.”

As another writer points out, Mo should not be so onion-skinned. “E, bakit siya, kapag nilalait niya’t ginagawa niyang katatawanan ang iba’t ibang artista sa radio show niya, okay lang sa kanya? Ngayon, re-react agad siya.”

Ogie was later said to have apologized to Mo. We asked Louie Ignacio, who directed the concert for TV, about this. “That’s real classy of Ogie. He showed humility kahit wala siyang dapat ipag-apologize kasi wala naman talagang pinakita doon about Mo or his issue. But the fact that he apologized shows how humble Ogie really is.”

We had dinner at the beautifully designed home of Ogie and wife Regine on top of a hill at Ayala Heights last Friday night. They were ecstatic over their show's being a big blockbuster and the positive feedback they’re getting for their concert. Regine herself cooked our special dinner. We asked Ogie about the Mo thing and he’d rather not talk about it at all. “Tapos na 'yan. Wala kaming binanggit at all about abortion. But at the same time, I texted a friend of his about it. Hindi siya mismo ang tinext ko. Basta we didn’t mean to offend anyone, maski panoorin pa niya when it’s shown later on TV.”
