IT is highly doubtful that TV5 will be able to get Gov. Vilma Santos.

While it may be true that TV5 has already succeeded in getting Sharon Cuneta and Nora Aunor, Ate Vi happens to be situated on an entirely different plane inasmuch as her projects and working relationship with the Kapamilya network has remained fruitful and satisfying.

Where an attractive offer may tempt Ate Vi, it would still remain to be seen whether her loyalty would be easily swayed. Besides, her stature as one of the institutions of the local entertainment industry should not compel her to tie herself up with one network because she can stand on her own two feet.

However, given the persistent nature of the TV5 management as proven by its offer to include the constituents of Ate Vi as beneficiaries of the project being designed, would they succeed after all and convince the Star for All Seasons to join their fold? Just asking…

The news tidbit reportedly generated in turn several reactions top among them are some observations that James indeed is a lucky fellow.

It is sad to note, however, that mainstream thought on the matter could be influenced by shallow observations made in bad taste focusing entirely on the monetary aspect.
