AT this point na parang uso na ang magpa-enhance sa mga celebrity, maituturing na Lea Salonga is one of a kind.
Ayon sa kanya, not any of her physical attributes ay binago ng siyensiya.
She is satisfied daw with all her physical assets which she considers “gifts from God.”
Pero ayon kay Lea, she has nothing against people who have themselves partly or totally enhanced. Kung nakatulong daw ito para sumikat sila sa showbiz, well and good.
In her case, we asked Lea kung paano niya na-maintain ang kanyang looks when she faced the entertainment press at her contract signing with Joed Serrano’s That’s Ntertainment Productions.
Parang she hasn’t aged at all. She looks not just pretty but at peace with herself as well.
“I’m just happy,” aniya. “Since I’m not so busy, I decided to do something for myself, one of them having myself color my hair the way it used to.
“Until lately kasi, I lighten the color of my hair.
“I also spend more time with my daughter Nicole. I accompany her to all her activities, kabilang na ang swimming, ballet lessons and, of course, pag-aaral. And I enjoy it.”
In any case, the contract Lea signed for Joed’s company has something to do with her performance as special guest in James Ingram’s concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on February 17 and at the Waterfront Hotel Cebu on February 18.
Joed confessed he has offered Lea to do a concert many times over. Pero tuwing makikipag-usap daw siya sa Mommy Ligaya or Joy ni Lea, kung bakit palagi na lang itong may commitment.
Until nga raw he was lucky to get the services of international singer James Ingram.
Who to get for James’ front act was initially a problem although the former suggested Patti Austin daw.
“Naisip ko na kailangan siguro ng isang taga-atin,” pag-amin ni Joed.
That’s when Lea’s name came to Joed’s mind. This time, pahayag pa niya, he was lucky.
Mommy Ligaya told Joed Lea’s free to do a concert here on the dates he mentioned.
When Lea learned about the offer, na-excite raw siya. She has always admired James as a singer at dream niya na makapag-perform with him.

Lea said she will do at least two or three duets with James in the concert. Probably, one of them will be the song How Do You Keep the Music Playing.
There are other songs ni James, mostly romantic ballads, which she loves to sing or listen to like One Hundred Ways, Just Once and There’s No Easy Way.
Ipinagmamalaki nga pala ni Joed na among the many concerts lined up this Valentine month and on the first and second week of March, ang production niya lang ang masasabing nag-o-offer ng both popular and much-admired certified singers na magkaiba man ang lahi, are both considered international icons.

Guess what nga pala? Both Lea and Joed are products ng That’s Entertainment, the discovery show on TV which Kuya Germs (German Moreno) hosted and produced.
Joed admitted na kaya niya tinawag na That’s Ntertainment Productions ang kanyang company, dahil he wants to pay tribute to Kuya Germs for contributing to whoever he is now.
And also, in behalf din daw of everybody na natulungan nito nang pumasok sila sa showbiz.
