Sa totoo lang, ’di namin namukhaan si Djanin Cruz, daughter nina Tirso Cruz III at Lyn Ynchausti, nang ipakilala siya bilang isa sa members ng cast ng My Beloved, reunion ng Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera loveteam sa GMA-7.

Sobra ang iginanda ni Djanin. Bumagay sa kanya ang kanyang make-up na siya mismo ang naglagay except sa eye make-up na isa sa in-house make-up artists ng GMA-7 ang gumawa.

Guess what role Djanin is portraying sa My Beloved?

Si Lucy, tomboyish friend ni Monica (played by Jennica Garcia).

Come to think of it, one thing Djanin and Jennica have in common ay pareho silang anak ng celebrity.         Jennica’s mom is actress Jean Garcia.

Si Djanin naman is Pip and Lyn’s only daughter. She is the youngest as well.

Djanin finished college first at the De La Salle University bago siya pumasok sa showbiz.

Like Djanin, Mikael Daez is also a college graduate. He finished Business Management sa Ateneo University where he studied since grade school.

No wonder, Mikael is articulate and confident, lalo na sa paghu-host.

He was a ramp-commercial model bago siya nasabak sa showbiz.

Two years na siyang nag-aartista. So far, he has appeared in the movie Temptation Island at naka- dalawa nang teleserye, ang latest ay ang My Beloved, na magsisimulang umere sa Monday.

Na-feature rin si Mikael sa Amaya, which also had Marian in the title role. Kaya at home raw siya sa aktres na aniya, isa sa pinakamabait at understanding na kaibigan na puwede mong ma-win.

Mikael writes a weekly column sa entertainment section ng isang broadsheet.

His editor, Ricky Lo, allows him daw to write about any subject na gusto niyang isulat.

But his greatest desire is to become as good and popular an actor as Dingdong. He admires his numerous advocacies as well.

Unlike Dingdong, though, loveless daw si Mikael.

Out of the country pa pala si Ruffa Gutierrez, who is reportedly in Argentina with Dra. Vicki Belo’s daughter Cristalle.

Kaya ’di present si Ruffa when her dad, Eddie Gutierrez, turned 70 last February 6. Wife Annabelle Rama tendered an intimate party for him.

Ruffa’s brothers — Rocky, twins Raymond and Richard, Elvis and Ritchie Paul — were there, pati na ang kanyang half-brothers na sina Tonton Gutierrez at Ramon Christopher.

Tonton is Eddie’s son by actress Liza Lorena. Si Ramon naman, kay Pilita Corrales.
