NOW that her marriage to James Yap has been annulled, Kris Aquino is free to accept suitors.

But she says she’s okay on her own, and she prefers to be loveless until the right guy comes along. But she is not looking, she insists.

And she clarifies that her annulment is not a reason to rejoice, as it only manifests that her marriage was not successful. The reason why it has been annulled was that the one who officiated their wedding didn’t have the authority to solemnize such union.

Kris has the custody for James, Jr. or Bimby, but James, Sr. has the visitation rights. Kris insists that she and James are now good friends, as they can talk civilly about a lot of things.

That includes James’ new lovelife. But is it true she is ill at ease talking about them? Just asking…

ACTIONS THAT ARE HARD TO UNDO

FORMER action star turned senator Lito Lapid must have his hands full right now attending to the federal case filed against his wife Marissa, who was nabbed in Las Vegas airport in November with undeclared $50,000, a clear violation of United States government law.

It did not help her either when Marissa claimed that the cash she was carrying was meant to cover payment of a medical procedure that she will have to undergo. The senator cited another reason which further aggravated her case.

What appeared to help though was what Lapid said that the cash she carried came from legitimate business because she happens to be a businesswoman in their hometown.

But the fact remains that she misrepresented herself and that she violated an American regulation that happens to carry the penalty of five years imprisonment, fine of $250,000 and forfeiture of the $50,000 found in Marissa’s suitcase.

It boggles the mind how Mrs. Lapid committed such mistake. She is no ignorant of the US law, we suppose, as she has been travelling back and forth.

But what happened has happened and it is hard to undo such action.

Or was Mrs. Lapid suddenly got a mindset that she was to land in Philippine soil? Just asking…

NO GOOD OR BAD COMMENT ABOUT GAB

SOME people are wondering why dancer-host Gab Valenciano couldn’t keep a long relationship.

The son of Gary V has had girlfriends who to a lot of guys would be dream dates, but it seems the young Valenciano quickly keep his hands off after a while.

His latest conquest, the beautiful Isabel Oli wouldn’t say bad things about him and their four-month affair. But she couldn’t say good things about it either.

It would be remembered that he and singer Rachel Ann Go had a bad breakup with Gab saying she was too demanding. Gab also had a brief romance with singer-actress Nikki Gil. Well, lucky for Nikki, it seems she found a better man in Billy Crawford.

His parents have been together for many years now. We don’t know if on the contrary, he hates long relationships.

Is he seeing something negative on being together for a long time or do his girlfriends see something negative in him? Just asking…
