KARYLLE wisely refused to answer any questions about Dolphy, the longtime companion of her mom, Zsa Zsa Padilla, who’s frequently reported as being ill. “I don’t think it’d be proper for me to say anything about him as I’m not a direct relative,” she says at her launch as the endorser of Jeunesse Feminine Napkins. “His own family would be in a better position to answer such questions.”

She no longer hides her relationship with singer-guitarist Yael Yuzon of Sponge Cola. When asked about him, she said: “Okay naman.” What will they do on Valentine’s Day? “I have an out of town Valentine show on that day so I’m not sure if we’d be together. I think meron din silang sariling show ng band niya on that day. Alam nyo naman, singers and musicians are in demand on Valentine kaya trabaho muna.”

We’re glad she has truly moved on after l’affaire Dingdong. “Sorry kung ayoko masyadong pag-usapan ang lovelife ko kasi, based on my experience, pag masyado kang makuwento about your personal life, di nagiging maganda ang resulta. Pag umamin kayong on, aabangan naman kung kailan kayo ikakasal o magbe-break. So we want to be quiet. We just collaborated on my new album and everything we want to say to each other, nandu’n sa songs in that album.”

Will her “Kitchen Musical” in Singapore have a part two? “Sabi. But we’re still waiting for the official notice.”

She’s now part of ABS-CBN’s “Showtime.” What would happen if she’d have to go to Singapore again? “Di magli-leave ako. Sayang naman ang ‘Kitchen Musical’ dahil it’s now being shown in 18 countries, the latest being Korea.”

ROCHELLE Pangilinan does a sexy dance to seduce Gabby Eigenmann in “Broken Vow” that starts airing tomorrow. She’s clad in a revealing outfit that is totally backless and has kissing scenes with Gabby.

“I was so scared doing that scene, talagang sobra ang nerbiyos ko,” she says. “But I had to do it kasi kailangan sa story. I need to steal his attention away from Bianca King. Kontrabida ako rito kay Bianca, eh.”

Did she ask permission from her boyfriend, Arthur Solinap? “I consulted him and he said, ‘Talaga? It’s up to you, ask yourself kung gagawin mo o hindi. Kung hindi, umatras ka na sa trabahong ito.’ Si Gabby rin, kinausap siya and told her we’ll do this delicate scene.”

Is it true she went on honeymoon with Arthur in a recent trip to Singapore? “Ano ba 'yun? Di pa nga kami kinakasal, honeymoon na. Bakasyon lang yun. Gift ko sa sarili ko after ‘Amaya’ na ang tagal tumakbo sa ere, di ba?”

Don’t they have plans of tying the knot soon? “Wala pa. Nag-iipon pa kami. Binabayaran ko pa 'yung bahay ng family ko. At 25 pa lang naman ako. We can wait.”

But she’s sure that Arthur is her Mr. Right? “Sana, kasi mahirap maghanap, huh. As of now, siya na talaga.”

'ANO'NG MASAMA SA CRUSH?'

DERRICK Monasterio’s Internet fans are very vocal in saying  they don’t approve of his being linked to Ellen Adarna. “Nag-comment lang naman ako when I saw her sa FHM cover,” he says. “Nasabi kong crush ko siya at gusto ko siyang makilala then Ellen tweeted me at nag-thank you. I didn’t expect magiging very violent ang reaction about that. Masama bang humanga?”

His fans say he’s a teen heartthrob and should be wholesome, not linked to a sexy star who, as everyone knows, is already living in with her businessman BF Filo Cocueco. “I appreciate their concern, pero crush lang naman 'yun.”

How about his crush on Sarah Lahbati and Bea Binene? “Ganun pa rin, crush lang. I’ve never had a girlfriend at 16, hanggang crush lang. Si Sarah, makakasama ko sa concert niya in Switzerland. We’re leaving on February 9. It’s my second trip to Europe kasi nakapunta na ako sa Austria when I was 13 as part of the Kilyawan Choir ng school namin, Claret. Si Bea naman, we have become good friends, pero walang ligawan. Magkasama kami sa ‘Tween Hearts’ and now, sa ‘Alice Bungisngis and Her Wonder Walis’. Even her mom told me mag-focus na lang kami sa career namin, which is the right thing to do. Excited kami about this project dahil love triangle kami with Jake Vargas. It’ll start airing na this Monday sa GMA7 before ’24 Oras’.”

RYAN PROUD OF ‘TP'

RYAN Agoncillo is proud and happy that his hit TV5 show “Talentadong Pinoy” is going international. “The show is about celebrating Filipino talent wherever they are in the world and for February, we have a very special   “Talentadong Pinoy: International Edition,” he says. “With the help of PGN Limited, TV5’s international arm, five contestants from different countries were flown to Manila for a chance to showcase their talents”.

Two contestants, Edward Lava  and Miguel Antonio Vedanaigam, are from Singapore. Edward is a hairstylist while 11-year- old Miguel Antonio has won in a popular singing contest in Singapore.  Two are from Hong Kong, Penny Salcedo and Liza Parantar. Penny is an English teacher while Liza has been a domestic helper in Hong Kong for 16 years. From Dubai is hardworking bartender Erick John Dizon. Jurors are international rockstar Arnel Pineda of Journey, Tuesday Vargas and Alan K.

The special guest is David Archuleta who’ll sing the theme song of his mini-serye, “Nandito Ako,” tonight, Sunday, right after “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire on TV5.“

Among the stars who’ve worked for me, she’s one of my favourites as she never gave me any problems and she has become such a great achiever so I’m really proud of her.
