Single na for a while si Mr. P and formerly married naman si Ms. Beauty Queen to a former commercial model.

Pero hiwalay na si Ms. BQ sa kanyang husband. May maliliit pa silang kids.

Bagama’t nag-artista rin for a time si Ms. BQ, duda raw ang aming informer na papayagan pa ito ni Mr. P to act sa tv or movies.

Well, nakikita-kita pa rin si Ms. BQ na ‘rumarampa- rampa’ sa showbiz gatherings.

Guess why? She has shifted to a new profession which allows her na maging visible pa rin sa, wika nga, ay daigdig na kanyang ginagalawan.

Wow, let’s give a hand to John Lloyd Cruz who, without batting an eyelash, admitted na yes, officially on na naman sila ni Shaina Magdayao.

He refuses to elaborate, though, after the presscon of his soon-to-be-released flick with Angel Locsin, Unofficially Yours, why and how they reconciled.

Like him, Shaina is equally busy. She is back from  Qatar where her new series, Doha, with Jake Cuenca  was partly shot.

Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina, who has a number of blockbuster movies to her name and is at the helm of Unofficially Yours, describes her current status as “single.”

Come March, Direk Cathy would be two years nang widow. Her husband, an engineer formerly connected with DZMM, died in a freak accident.

He was in his mid-30s.

Dalawang maliliit na anak ang iniwan ng kanyang asawa kay Direk Cathy.

We learned that she and Star Cinema creative  head Carmina Raymundo have long conceptualized the theme of Unofficially Yours.

From the start, they had John Lloyd in mind na raw for the role of Mackey.

For the part of Princess or Cess, ewan kung bakit nag-swak kaagad ang kanilang choice to have Angel Locsin.

Direk Cathy and Carmi are glad daw about their choice of stars and, of course, their support cast.

Direk Cathy thought of the brilliant idea of having  the three daughters nina William Martinez at Yayo Aguila — Patrizha, Dana and Daniella — play the younger sisters ni John Lloyd.

Also featured in Unofficially Yours is Edgar Allan Guzman, na una raw nakita ni Direk Cathy sa first indie film nito.

Kaagad niya itong kinuha para gumanap ng isang mahalagang papel sa isang episode ng Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).

“Hindi ko alam how to say thank you to Direk Cathy,” ani Edgar. “Malaking pagkakataon itong ibinigay niya sa akin. John Lloyd and Angel are two of my favorite actors.”

Bagama’t under contract sa Regal Entertainment, Edgar Allan wishes to do more films and tv shows for Star Cinema and ABS-CBN, respectively.

Personal: Happy birthday to Malou Santos, Star Cinema managing director, who marks a birthday today.

Malou is the brains behind all of the successful and blockbuster movies na nai-produce na at ipu-produce pa ng Star Cinema.

She also has a hand why after 20 long years and counting, kumbaga, Maalaala Mo Kaya remains to be the number one drama anthology today.

Malou’s elder sister, Charo Santos-Concio, hosts MMK.

Ang current production ng grupo niya, E-Boy, starring child actor Bugoy Cariño, is doing the ratings.
