EVERY showbiz-oriented talk show deals with gossip. Perhaps, this is what will make the upcoming showbiz talk program Showbiz Inside Report (SIR) different.

Hosted by Janice de Belen, Carmina Villarroel, Ogie Diaz and Joey Marquez, it will be purely reportorial.

As much as possible, it will touch daw on the malalalim na pagkilala sa buhay at totoong pagkatao ng isang celebrity na matatawag na colleagues ng mga host.

For them, SIR will be a new and exciting na panoorin dahil mga kuwento o report ito na alam na at hindi pa alam ng publiko.

Halimbawa, gaya ni Joey na willing to interview and hobnob with ex-GF Kris Aquino, si Carmina, ’di raw mag-aatubiling kausapin extensively ang dating asawa na si Rustom Padilla (now known as BB Gandanghari).

In Ogie’s case, hindi siya mag-aatubiling ibahagi sa publiko ang kanyang buhay may-asawa at ang pagiging ama sa apat na anak na babae despite his gender.

Janice, on the other hand, said that what excites her about SIR is the chance to know more about her fellow Kapamilyas, especially.

When SIR premieres on ABS-CBN on Feb. 4, mapapanood din sa same network ang bagong series na Oka2kat.

Actually, it’s the story of five teenagers who embark on an adventure in their desire to retrieve cursed objects which the lolo of one of them once owned.

Of course, Oka2kat is inspired by the hit series in the ’90s. Teenstars in the current cast are Paul Salas, Makisig Morales, Sue Anna Ramirez, Jane Oineza and Joshua.

Except for Sue Anna, sina Paul, Makisig, Jane and Joshua are all ‘graduates’ ng Sunday youth program na Goin’ Bulilit.

All five admit that Oka2kat excites them. It’s their first time raw na magkaroon ng project na horror-filled.

Do the five, including senior actress Perla Bautista (featured in the series as a an albularya), believe in ghost?

Paul answered yes, he does. He has already  seen one while inside the car his dad was driving.

Si Jane naman, nakakita na ng multo sa panaginip.

Pero sina Makisig, Sue at Joshua, hindi  sure kung ghosts do exist.

On the other hand, Perla said that at her age, she has yet to see a ghost.

Directed by Theodore Boborol at Neal del Rosario, Oka2kat also stars Dimples Romana, Janus del Prado, DJ Durano and Nanding Josef.
