Christian: I wasn’t deported

CHRISTIAN Bautista explained that he was never deported from Indonesia.

“There was some misunderstanding between us and the promoter of the show,” he explained. “I have been going in and out of Indonesia for five years now and we never had a problem.  The promoter got me a visitor’s visa instead of the usual working visa. It was our fault, me and my manager, that we didn’t look at it closely. It was true that after my show there, I was invited by the immigration people. It was good it happened. At least, we knew what to do next time.” It is not true either that he’s banned in the country. “In fact, I will have a show there (Indonesia) in February. Okay na. Wala nang problema. But we plan to hold a presscon there so the people may know.”

RYAN BETTER LOOKING THAN GEOFF

A BROADSHEET movie writer is determined to fight it out that Ryan Eigenmann is better looking than his matinee idol brother, Geoff.

“His eyes are piercing,” he says. ‘With or without the hair, I find him more macho, more desirable.”

That is why he never let the chance to interview Ryan to pass at the presscon for GMA7’s new primetime show, "Biritera" where he plays the role of a talent manager. The character that Ryan plays will discover the lead child actress, Roseanne in the story.

Meanwhile, Direk  Maryo J.  de los Reyes  who directed many unforgettable  TV drama series  such as "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?," "Saan Darating Ang Umaga," "Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak," "Impostora," Rosalinda and more says the new assignment is another challenge, not necessarily for him but for the new  set of the artists in the cast.

But with the likes of good actors like Ryan, Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro,  Angelika de la Cruz, Ryan Eigenmann,  Rich Asuncion, Ces Quezada, Neil Ryan Sese and a bunch of talented    kids, including Sweet Ramos, Direk Maryo has a new winner after his hit,  "Munting Heredera."

ZOREN KNOWS HIS GENDER

ZOREN Legazpi is getting good feedback as a co-host in "Paparazzi," notwithstanding discouragement as some might conclude he’s gay.  Oh, well. His wife, Carmina Villarroel knows better. After Rustom Padilla who’s now Bebeng Gandanghari, Carmina must be the expert.

Zoren is very much a macho man  and nothing  to worry about  his gender.  For him,  hosting shows as "Paparazzi"  is  just a job.  He couldn’t  care less with what people  will think about him.

One  thing good  about  Zoren as a host is his being an actor and  an insider  who  gets  fresh news from colleagues. Straight from  the horse’s mouth, so to say. But he clarifies that he has no intention of ruining the lives of his  friends  from the industry.  He knows they will understand that it is just a job.

He still dabbles in acting. He’s standout in "Glamorosa."  He also directs movies  and TV shows. Above all, he’s doing these as a loving and supportive husband  to wife  Carmina  and  a good, responsible father to their kids.
