HOY, Ian F., alam mo bang last year, more or less 29 mainstream films lang ang nai-produce at nai-release ng local producers?
The film won best picture and best actor for lead actor JM de Guzman.
Ani Gov. Imee, Pinta Kasi can live up to the level of high quality films, the kinds which she produced during her dad’s (Ferdinand Marcos’) era, two of which were the highly-admired Himala and Oro Plata Mata.
Pinta Kasi falls under hip-hop fairy tale type as the modern dance plays a central role sa pelikula. World- renowned Filipino hip hop will become a celebrated factor after the showing of the movie.
Gov. Imee brought with her handsome son Borgy Manotoc, 28, when she met with members of the entertainment press to announce Pinta Kasi’s nationwide theater run starting on Feb. 8 sa mga sinehan ng SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM Fairview, SM Marikina, SM North Edsa, SM Cebu and SM Iloilo and on Feb. 29 in SM Baguio, SM Davao and SM Batangas.
She also announced na may bago siyang project na she is working on. This is The Lam-ang Experiment, a graphic novel based on the Filipino epic Biag ni Lam-ang.
The graphic novel comes in three volumes, na ang pinakauna ay out na in the market at ang huling dalawa ay malapit nang makumpleto.
The teams behind The Lam-Ang Experiment eyes its electronic release na puwedeng i-access through book.
When The Lam-ang Experiement will be released nationwide. Borgy will handle its advertising kaya present siya sa nabanggit na presscon.

We took the opportunity to ask Borgy why he’s never considered na maging artista samantalang most movie and tv producers are willing to give him the break.
Smiling, he said he’d rather stick to fashion and commercial modeling.
In fact, showbiz friends niya sina Vice Ganda at Anne Curtis.
He was at the premiere of Vice Ganda’s high-grossing film Praybet Benjamin last year.

Andeng said she discovered na buntis siya with her third baby when she had a check-up recently.
Andeng and Gov. Junjun are keeping their fingers crossed na makakalalaki na silang anak this time, since they already have two daughters, aged four and two, respectively.
