CAN you blame Oyo Sotto for his resentment over his dad's rumored new girlfriend Pauleen Luna? We share his sentiments completely.

Vic reminded us of the amorous conquests of comedy king Dolphy and how it ended when he found Zsa Zsa Padilla. Their relationship has overcome numerous intrigues and undoubtedly, she is the last woman Dolphy would like to spend the rest of his life with.

On the other hand, Vic even defied the  saying “never play in your own backyard” as some of his past girlfriends were co-hosts of “Eat Bulaga.”  He has this obsessive fascination for women half his age.

Indeed, he deserves to be called a Cassanova.  A modern and aging one.

ASAP WELCOMES YEAR OF THE WATER DRAGON

IT  is so different when you see the Kapamilya stars in the flesh (or live) before your eyes as “ASAP” welcomed the Year of the Water Dragon at the Quirino Grandstand.

In between commercial breaks, Christian Bautista, Enchong Dee, Jericho Rosales, JM de Guzman, Erik Santos, Maja Salvador, John Prats, Enrique Gil, Matteo Gudicelli,Kim Chiu, Angeline Quinto and Patrick Garcia warmly greeted us Kung Hei Fat Choy.

We told Sarah Geronimo's mother, Divine, that we missed her home- cooked dishes at their  thanksgiving party held at the family-owned resto called  Imo as we were not invited.

WHAT'S OUT

THE bash bade the cast of “Ikaw ang Pag-ibig” a grand farewell since it is ending this week. It gives way to a new primetime offering, “E-Boy.” topbilled by Bugoy Cariño.

Also on the way out is the Sunday show of Vice Ganda which according to publicist Aron Domingo is meant for one season only.

The noontime show “Happy, Yipee, Yehey” is rumored to be on its way out till the end of the month. And we wondered why despite the big prizes the segment  Susi ng Kapalaran offers, the show fails to rate. We will miss John Estrada who do an excellent job hosting the segment.

Many new shows will be seen in the coming weeks and we hope theYear of the Water Dragon bless them generously with good ratings.

LESS COMPASSIONATE BUT FIRM

THE move to transfer “Personalan” to a new timeslot is  most welcome. It is a good move. Why collide with  TV5's  “Face to Face” which already has a captive market ?

Hosted by Ali Sotto,  “Personalan” now airs at 7 p.m. daily.

Our observation?  Ali is less compassionate but very firm and investigative in dealing with the guests whose problems are analyzed by life coach of the show.
