Ang una naming pinuntahan ay ang presscon for the upcoming ABS-CBN  series, Mundo Man ay Magunaw, na maituturing na tunay na powerhouse ang cast.

Bukod sa young stars na sina Empress (yes, Empress na lang, wala nang Schuck), Ejay Falcon, Nikki Gil at Diane Medina.

Featured naman ang senior stars na sina Sylvia Sanchez, Allan Paule, Pinky Amador, Jason Gainza, Tessie Tomas and, of course, si Eula Valdez who, in her role as the mom na ihahalintulad ang pagkawalay sa isang anak sa pagkagunaw ng mundo.

Ang next na pinuntahan namin ay ang matagal-tagal na ring blowout na ipinangako ni Sarah Geronimo sa members ng entertainment media.

Guess where the blowout was held?

Well, in the Geronimos’ mala-carinderia eatery located on Mindanao Ave. The new establishment is named after Sarah’s dad, Imo Organic Restaurant.

According to the singer-actress’ mom, Imo is the pet name of her husband Delfin. 

Ayon pa kay Divine, organic lahat ang mga pagkaing isini-serve sa restaurant na siya mismo ang nag-concoct at nagluluto.

Si Divine rin mismo ang namimili ng mga isini-serve na food, pati mga ingredient at araw-araw daw niya itong gagawin, dahil gusto niyang ang bawat serving na ipinakakain nila sa customer ay fresh and new.

That night, Sarah’s blowout served as the soft opening of the restaurant. Business started the following day, Thursday.

It is situated in a building which the Geronimos themselves own. It used to be an old house, according to Divine, na nabili nila kamakailan lang.

Last but not the least, dumalo kami sa joint birthday event ng three of the most-liked entertainment writers in showbiz. These are Mario Bautista, Joe Barrameda (fondly referred to as Joebarr) and Ian Fariñas.

Mario writes for People’s Journal and a broadsheet. May daily column din si Joebarr for a top tabloid. Si Ian naman happens to be the entertainment editor of this paper.

Held at the Penthouse of the Imperial Palace Suites, the triple celebration was spearheaded by Mother Lily Monteverde and Malou Fagar.

A number of celebrities came aside, siyempre pa, from several fellow entertainment writers. In any case, since we arrived late nga, ang tanging namataan na lang namin ay sina Ricky Davao at Senator Jinggoy Estrada.

Earlier, we learned na dumating daw si Bacoor Congresswoman Lani Mercado.

Sen. Jinggoy came straight from the Senate hearing of the ongoing impeachment case involving Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Asked if Justice Corona will be impeached, tanging ngiti lang ang naisagot ni Sen. Jinggoy.

Wow, Ian F., let’s give Sen. Bong Revilla and Cong. Lani a congratulatory hug since grandparents muli sila for the third time.

Their eldest daughter, Inah, just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy named Iñigo.

Inah has been married to Vince del Rosario for four years now.

The couple’s eldest child, a girl named Alex, is now three years old.

Sen. Bong and Cong. Lani have an elder apo, Gab, anak naman ng kanilang second son, si Jolo, kay Grace Adriano, daughter ni Rosanna Roces.

Matagal nang hiwalay sina Jolo at Grace, na may dalawang anak na ngayon with her bagong pag-ibig.

Gab turned seven years old last January 15 at isang party ang inihandog sa kanya ng ama sa Country Club ng Alabang in Muntinlupa.

While Gab’s mom and lola were no-shows, Kim Chiu, partner ni Jolo sa katatapos na My Binondo Girl, was present to greet and give Gab a peck on the cheek.

Kim happens to be Gab’s favorite actress, ayon kay Jolo.
