AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency yesterday raided three drug facilities in Quezon City, Antipolo City and Pampanga.
PDEA chief Jose S. Gutierrez Jr. said the raids resulted in the arrest of three Chinese nationals and five Filipinos believed to be engaged in the manufacture and sale of shabu and Ecstasy.
Gutierrez said the raids started past 3 p.m. and were conducted on the strength of search warrants issued by Judge Amor Reyes.
Raided were a house in Barangay Sta. Monica, Sta. Rita Pampanga, the LNS Bodykit in Banawe, E. Rodriguez, Quezon City and another house in Filinvest Easthomes, Antipolo City.
The PDEA chief said the suspects were either financing, manufacturing or distributing dangerous drugs in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
An undetermined amount of shabu, cocaine and Ecstasy as well as assorted high-powered firearms were seized during the operations.
