Thus said Malacanang as it cautioned the Supreme Court to be careful with its decisions after the high court recalled its ruling over a labor issue concerning Philippine Airlines and the Flight Attendants and Stewards Association of the Philippines due to a technicality.

Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda aired Malacanang’s concern that a similar thing could happen in the future to government cases.

"I think once burned, twice shy. The Supreme Court must be sure not to make the same mistake again if ever this time the technicality was overlooked," Lacierda said.      EMontano
