MANILA-Hobe  Bihon   and  Gerry’s  Grill  part  ways  today in  the MBL Corporate Cup basketball championship  at the   San  Andres gym in Malate, Manila.

Hostilities begin at 7 p.m. with  Manila-Hobe  and Gerry’s Grill  looking  to break their tie with   Duraville   Realty for   fourth to sixth places with similar 1-1 slates.

Manila-Hobe, which is being supported  by Manila  Mayor Alfredo Lim and   businessman Bobby Co,   hopes to get  ex-pro Braulio  Lim  back in  the  game in  time for the game against Gerry’s Grill.

Lim, who  played   for Alaska Milk in the  PBA, missed Manila’s  63-75  defeat  to    Star  Group of  Publications last  Satursday.

Manila-Hobe  coach  Raymund  Reyes  will also  rely on ex-pros Al Vergara  and  Jeff Sanders and Paul Almario. 

The coach  Wilson  Sia-mentored Gerry’s Grill is seeking a follow-up to  its  90-86  win  over Secret Spieces last week.  

Former PATTS standout Rene  Boy Banzali,  Karl  Santos and Topher Manalili will llead Gerry’s Grill ‘s bid.

In the second game,   Makati Medical Center  of   former   national team standout   Richie Melencio  and Secret Spices of coach Pablo  Lucas collide  at   8:30  p.m.
